After we starting dating exclusively, it sure didn't take long for me to clearly know that Wes was "the one". I was so excited and happy to be with the one I would spend forever with. I knew Wes was going to propose...I just didn't know when it would be.
On May 26, 2007 Wes took me to Waterton National Park for the day. The rocky mountains were breath-taking, the sun was warm and the company was amazing. Near the end of the day we hiked up "Bears Hump". The hike was fun and short. At the top, over looking the beauty, Wes sat me down, gave me a letter of the "top 10 reasons" he loves me, and then got on one knee, and asked for my hand in marriage! I couldn't have been more perfect. We were both so happy!
On the way down, I told him for the first time that my dream marriage proposal would be following a hike on the top of a beautiful mountain. It truly was a dream come true!

Amanda! That is the sweetest thing in the world. I'm glad you're so happy! I can't wait to meet this husband of yours! 8 years is way too long. My mom just bought into a timeshare-so we can stay at awesome resorts for like $30 a night-we should go do that sometime next year or something! Or you could move to the states...:)
I'm glad you guys let us know about the blog!
