Christmas Festivities

This year it was our turn to spend Christmas with the Isfeld/Walsh side. But, before we went to Coaldale, we had an early Christmas with my Dad and Jenn. We started the day off by swimming at the Southland Leisure Centre. Then, we went back to the house where we decorated ginger bread men, ate snacks, and opened gifts.

On Christmas Eve, we drove down to Mom and Larry's house in Coaldale. We even had a visit from Santa Claus! Zoe was the only one brave enough to sit on Santa's knee. The other girls didn't even want to accept a gift from him! It was really funny! If you notice on the picture, Maria and Reece look like they are giving Santa the "evil eye".
We had a lot of fun in Coaldale hanging out, eating food, and playing games. I think we all remember how funny Liz was in Catch Phrase (thanks Mike and Mandy)! We love ya liz!

Maria trying on Aunty's glasses...what a cutie!!

Wes and Ana: The beginning of a new friendship:

Due to Wes' persistance, she warmed up to him by the end of our visit.

Mom and Larry: The Christmas cooks

Back in Calgary we got to spend time with the Pitcher side. Playing BINGO is a family tradition and always a lot of fun!

What a great Christmas! Although there are some that live far away, it's neat to be close to so many family members and to get to spend the holidays with those we love.
