We were so lucky to have our niece, Reece, stay with us for a couple of days! Wes has this week off of work, and was so excited to play "Mr. Mom" and stay home with her while I was at work...Wes is going to make such a great dad one day!! Monday afternoon Wes went to meet Naomi in Claresholm to pick up Reece. They all went out for lunch with my dad who has been working there for a few weeks.
We had so much fun with Reece. Here is a little peak at our fun adventures with her:
On the way back to Calgary, Wes took Reece to the Candy Store in Nanton:
talk about getting off to a good start!
Then, back in Calgary, Reece got to ride the C-train for the first time...
to come visit Auntie and work:
Time for baking: we had lots of fun making delicious cheesecake! Reece kept calling it her "Birthday Cake"....she is very excited for her 3rd birthday party coming up at the end of the month.
Tuesday morning Wes and Reece walked downtown...

to Eau Claire Market...
where she could PLAY!
When they first arrived at the playground there were a ton of other kids playing, so Reece wanted to just watch. But, when all the other kids left, she was ready to have some fun!!!
She even had energy to walk up ALL these stairs!
so she could pick out an outfit for her Monkey, Lisa, that I built her for her 1st birthday.
And lastly, we had so much fun singing her favorite songs:

How COOL!!!!!!!!!! You really are the greatest auntie!! I couldn't download the plug in though I heard it was cute! I love how you BOTH are their for your family. It sounds like Wes not only survived but ENJOYED!! Love Mom

Can I come and stay at your place? I am sure that Reece thought this was better than going to Disneyland.
