15 weeks

As of last Wednesday, I am officially 15 weeks along. My belly is a bit bigger...I can tell because my pants are tighter. I was going to have Wes take a picture of me, but then I didn't feel like it...so, maybe next week.

I have noticed that my energy levels are back up on most days...which is really great and something I had been waiting for. However, I have now have headaches often...but they usually aren't too bad. Is till get nauseous from time to time, but it seems to be getting better. This little baby inside of me must love pickles and cheese...that is my favorite snack these days!

I'm so excited to hear the heart beat on Wednesday! I'm thinking then it will feel more real.....like there's really something in there! Too bad Wes will miss it...he will be in Toronto.

Something I love doing to reading up on what is growing and developing each week for our baby. This is what is happening this week:

  • Your baby’s skin has been continuously developing, and it is so thin and translucent that you can see the blood vessels through it. Hair growth continues on the eyebrows and the head. Your baby's ears are almost in position now, although they are still set a bit low on the head. Internally, your baby's skeletal system continues to develop. Muscle development continues too, and your baby is probably making lots of movements with his or her head, mouth, arms, wrists, hands, legs, and feet.

And, here's a picture of what the little one looks like this week:

It's nothing like an ultrasound, but at least it gives me an idea!
