In 6 more weeks...

In 6 weeks TODAY we get possession of our new HOME!! It is now really REAL to me...I can't stop thinking about it...seriously!

These are a few things I am looking forward to enjoying in 6 more weeks:

• having our own washer and dryer and being able to do laundry at any time my little heart desires.
• knowing that when we pull into our garage there will be no one else parked in our spot.
• skipping the dirty, ancient, broken at times elevator, and just walking into our house through the front door, that leads outside!
• living on a quiet street
• not waking up to the sounds of pigeons outside our window (I know Wes is REALLY looking forward to this!)
• lots of room for Olivia (and her siblings) to run and play!
• a backyard
• room for visitors to stay, and park
• a "normal" size refrigerator
• a DISHWASHER.....WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!
• new furniture
• quality cabinets, flooring, etc
• carpet!
• decorating
• room for storage
• a mortgage payment....yes, that will mean I am a OFFICIALLY a grown-up! :)

(one thing I WILL miss, is the AMAZING VIEW we currently have...love it!)

I CAN'T WAIT!!!  I think for at least the first week I will spend a lot of my time doing cartwheels and dancing through every room...just because I can!

Finally having a place to call our own will be so fun and exciting in and of itself! But, I have to say that what is MOST important to me (above all of the other "stuff" I'm looking forward to) is that we have a home that our family loves to be in...a place that we can build memories....a place where the gospel of Jesus Christ is embraced, and where there is peace and security for our children...
