Wes and I have been so busy and have had so many different things we are planning for, deciding on, and getting done. All of these things I feel are very good...and wouldn't have wanted to have put any of the off, but they are still keeping us very busy none the less:
- NEW BABY: We are having a baby in less than 4 weeks (can't wait for her to come!)...not a surprise to anyone by this point...but it is very life-altering and takes a lot of preparation: weekly birth and baby classes, trying to figure out how to feel comfortable in my ever changing (and huge) body, Dr. appointments, dealing with not sleeping at night, getting the nursery ready (I'm so happy Wes painted the furniture), trying to find a good baby photographer that doesn't break the bank, thinking about how in the world I'm going to give BIRTH when I feel like a cramp in my leg is just too much to handle!...finding the right car seat, the right crib, the right stroller...the list goes on and on. But, we just love our daughter so much and can't wait until we meet her and she is in our arms. I still have so much to do before she comes!...by the way, the other day Wes pressed on my tummy to feel her...and she kicked his hand back! He has felt her many times before, but this time was different...her foot (or whatever it was) wasn't there initially...kinda like she was playing with her daddy!! I loved seeing his face light up when this happened.
- NEW HOUSE: We decided to buy a house! Very excited about this as well! A house is a pretty big purchase...and the first time Wes or I have done this. We are building it and so we get to design the colors, etc. Also, a good thing we are excited about but finding the time to look at the options before we have our first consultation has been tricky...it will work out and I can't wait!!
- NEW PROMOTION #1: I received a promotion at work. We were anticipating this and super excited when it finally happened. With this came a huge learning curve for me (which I love), while I train new employees for my old position that needs to be filled as well my current position for when I begin Maternity Leave...busy, busy, busy.
- NEW PROMOTION #2: Wes was also promoted at work!! Another very great thing! He has been busy learning his new role and enjoying it a lot. I am so proud of him!
- NEW VEHICLE: We have come to the realization that we need a 2nd vehicle. I loved the idea of only have 1 for as long as we could...but, have come to terms with the fact that it just doesn't make sense for us anymore. So, one more thing to add to our list...but again, such a fun thing to add!
I have LOVED all of these big events that have happened and big decisions we have made. The Lord has blessed our lives abundantly. I am truly grateful.

Congratulations you two on the promotions. That is awesome. YOu both desire it. Don't work too hard before the baby is here. You need all the strength you can get for after.
I am so excited
Life really never does slow down, does it? But I know you and Wes will adjust great once Olivia gets here.
I have heard of Anona Adams in Calgary. Friends of ours always go to her and they love the outcomes.http://www.anonadamsphotography.com/
As for Lethbridge, Shannon Pratt is amazing! That is who we had do my pregnancy photos and newborn photos.http://www.shannonprattphotography.com/
Congratulations on yours and Wes' promotions! That is very exciting and maybe a bit stressful at the same time!
And finally! Congratulations on purchasing a new home! That is so exciting! And as for a new car...We had a car when we first had Josh and then in January we got a Tucson. I would never go back to a car again! Especially with a baby! Always having to bend over killed my back and now I don't have to do that at all with our Tucson. Just a thought!
Hope your feeling well!
