Olivia absolutely LOVES her pink puppy! Her eyes light up every time she sees it. We'll ask her, "Olivia, where's your puppy??". She starts panting (like a puppy), crawls as fast as she can over to it, and lays on top of it. It really is very cute!
I have loved nursing my little baby! She is approaching her 1st birthday and I have been thinking about when to ween her. I kept going back and forth, and then one day early this week I decided I was ready to start. Rather than giving her formula for a month, I decided to just go straight to milk....
I have decided to take my time weening her...I still really enjoy those moments we have together. On the other hand, it is nice having a little more freedom!
She likes it!

Mikayla says "Olivia looks so big!!" She is so sweet! We had most of our kids go straight to milk when they were about 11 months and had no problems with it. Good luck with weening! Do take your time!
My kids when straight to milk at 6 months and no problem. The freedom was well worth it and there are so many ways to be close to your child that it is not a loss just a different stage.
