Almost 5 months!!

Olivia, you are almost 5 months!! We can't believe how big your are getting....you continue to light up our lives!

You had your 4 month shots on Monday (we were a little late) and Daddy took the day off of work to be with you. You amazed us both by not crying much at all. You cried for only a minute...and then your were fine. You are so brave!

As a 4.5 month old you:

• weigh 15.5 lbs (90 percentile)
• are 26.5 inches long (90 percentile)
• can sit up all by yourself for a few seconds
• roll over from your tummy to your back
• roll over from your back to your tummy (your arm usually get in the way)
• love to squeal, grunt, and screech
• you have the chunkiest little legs and they are SO CUTE!
• go to bed at 8:30pm, get hungry at 3:00am, and arise for the day at 7:00am
• smile at any and everyone who shows you attention
• loves being sung to and hearing music. Your all-time favorites are "Party in the USA" by Mylee Cyrus (this song was playing on the radio on they way home from the hospital an daddy continues to play it for you), AND "Popcorn Popping". We sing this to you often, and it puts a smile on your face without fail.
• You love the Jolly Jumper! You jump high and have such a fun time!
• You grab anything and everything you can get your hands on to...and, immediately all these items go directly into your mouth!
• You have started to really focus on us when we are eating...you must be taking mental notes on how the whole "inserting food" and "chewing" thing goes.
• you have discovered how handy your lips and tongue are....you love to suck on them
• you thumb has found your mouth, but so far only for biting
• You are still so drooly!! ....and are usually wearing a soaking wet bib because of this.
• You are the best thing that has ever happened to us! And we love you!!!
