What's up!

I have a few minutes while I'm waiting for the little boy I watch to arrive. Olivia is still sleeping, so I thought I'd take this time to get a quick post it.

Dayhome update: I am LOVING it! I've decided to keep doing it. The biggest difference is that I can now transport...which means I can take the kids out!!! Before, I could only walk with them (to the park, etc) and trust me, that wasn't even happening very often because it is so cold outside! Anyway, I'm no longer depressed...haha....and the boy is well adjusted to our home and us and it's going great! I don't even think it could go any better. I'm also hoping to still watch him after our new baby arrives. We will see what happens. I also watch 2 other kids one morning a week. That is good for me now.

Olivia loves to copy everything we do! She is so funny! I've always had a hard time vacuuming in front of her...it  used to be because she was terrified of the loud noise, and now it's because she wants to vacuum with me...it takes a LONG time when she is standing in front of me, holding on the the vacuum "helping" me. But, it is so cute!

Wes recently taught her how to say "cockey" (hockey) and let me tell you....he is a proud daddy! She is well-manered and will say "peas" and "tantyou" without being prompted (usually). She loves "toat" (Toast) and LOVES the word "No". But, she knows what she wants. When she doesn't wan't something she'll say "no", when she does want something she'll say "ahhh" (yeah). She is the centre attention anywhere in public when she has her squeaky-shoes on and LOVES to wear them.

Last week Wes went to to Atlanta for work and it was at least 20 degrees Celsius the entire time. I was jealous (as it was -30 degrees here) and I told him I should look online at real estate to see what house prices are like there and maybe WE COULD MOVE!!! His reply to me, "Just chill". I'm serious!! I can't stand this weather! They didn't have a lot of time to do any sight-seeing, but he and his colleague were able to go to a hockey game!

I am officially certified in First Aid and CPR. Oh my word....talk about long days! Sat morning was fine, but by Sat afternoon I was ready to be done. It was all day on Sunday too. Happy to be done with that and won't have to do that again for another 3 years! It's def. good to know how to save someone's life, but I honestly hope I am never int he situation where I need to.

Life is good and will even be better when we are DONE with winter!

I am about 17 weeks now (mis-calculated a bit on my last post...oops), but don't know if I will EVER post any baby-bump pics because I am HUGE!!! Honestly, WHY am I so big???  I feel like I look like I'm 6 months already. Yikes! This scares me.

Anyway, I have a feeling this on is a boy....actually I don't know if it's a feeling, more of a thought. I thought Olivia was a boy in the beginning too. I think I'm destined to have a boy based on the Pitcher side, but on the other hand, boys just don't exist on my side....literally. haha
