Simon's Blessing Day

[November 3 2013]

Simon was blessed exactly one week after he was born! It was either then, or wait until December...which is normally a really buys month! This is always a special day for me. I'm so grateful that I get to be a mom, a brand new person, who has come to our family. We love Simon and are excited to watch his purpose and life unfold. We feel grateful that our little Simon has so many people who love him.

We also had cake for Olivia and sang to her!

After the day was over, I realized that we didn't get a family picture!! Bummer!!!

Aubrey's Blessing (September 25)

Aubrey was Blessed in our ward today. It was so beautiful. I couldn't help but choke up a bit thinking about the power behind those beautiful words spoken by her daddy. How special. How powerful.

A friend from Wes' work was able to attend with her son, as well as a life-long friend that drove 3 hours each way to be there on Sunday. We also had many family members attend and participate. After church we gathered for a delicious lunch at our home! BIG THANKS TO MONICA for preparing it all for us!!! :) :)

It was such a wonderful day. When everyone was gone, and our house was quite, Wes and I felt so grateful for how truly wonderful the day was, and how happy we felt. We are so blessed!

Birthdays and Blessings

Look at this princess! Isn't she beautiful? On Saturday we got to celebrate Maria's 4th Birthday "Princess" Party with her.

Maria covered her ears because the singing was too loud! Haha!!

On Sunday was Zach's blessing day. Too bad we missed the blessing, as we initially went to the wrong building. :(. But, it was nice to spend time afterward at Brandon and Stephanie's home.

I can't believe how big Olivia looks next to Zach. They grow so fast!

What a Wonderful weekend!
