Happy New Year!

Grandma came for a visit while she and Liz were driving through! We had lunch. We had a great visit and my girls always love to see their grandma! Well, Aubrey does as long as mommy is holding her! :)

On New Years Eve Wes had to work. I decided that I would have a fun night with my girls...we would eat snacks while we watched and movie, do the count-down and go to bed by 8pm. Lovely. 

So, it began...crackers and snacks...on the floor in front of the movie (Ice Age). It was fun...for a good 30 minutes. Then, the girls started to fight. And fight some more. I realized that they were beyond the point of no-return. They needed to got to bed. I quickly talked up "New Years Eve" with Olivia and started counting down from 10 (just ringing it in a few hours early!)...but, Olivia became upset with me because I was counting the wrong way!

Both girls were in bed and fast asleep by 7:00 pm! haha. 

Wes was home at 9:00...I was ready for bed! We decided to watch a movie together, but couldn't agree on which one. Finally, we agreed that the series "Lost" looked good! Watched 2 episodes, both fell asleep on the couch! When I woke up, it was 12:10 a.m.! Wished "happy new year" to my husband and went to bed! Very exciting! haha 

New Years day was pretty low-key. We hung out around the house. Wes had to work (again), so I took the girls to Monter's Inc 3D. Olivia LOVED it!! Aubrey loved parts of it, but also needed to walk around a bit. 

Looking forward to a New Year and excited for 2013
