July 21

This past week has been great! I am approaching my 27 week mark and feeling pretty darn good! Although I am definitely feeling "pregnant".  The girls, especially Olivia, love to feel the baby move in my tummy. She gets really excited!! Aubrey has tried to feel, but I'm not sure she has yet.

The girls have been working on learning the Articles of Faith. Olivia has #1 memorized and passed it off today to her Sunbeam teacher, Bro. Fisk. She recited it so confidently. We are so proud of her! Now, to learn #2.

We also decided to check out a dance class at the Little Gym! They do some tap, ballet, and sports moves. Olivia was a bit shy, but she went in all by herself...Aubrey and I got to watch her. Then, her friend, M.M. showed up in the class! It was nice for Olivia to see a familiar face. The class was 1 hour long...she cried a few tears once, then the teacher brought her to get a drink of water, and she went right back into class! Another proud mommy moment! I know that it's tough for her to transition and experience new things..especially by herself, but she was so brave. She told me later that she loved the class, but that she was also scared. I told her it was OK to be scared, but she was also brave and ended up having such a great time! She is excited to go back! Aubrey had a little friend to play with and I had a friend to chat with. Good times were had by all!

Wes has a job in the Oakridge area. He needed me to drop some stuff off to him, so we took a drive out there. After a visit to daddy and playing in the park, we drove past the house so I could show Olivia where daddy lived when he was 3 (like she is) and were Grandma and Grandpa Pitcher lived before they went to heaven. A lot of good memories in that home! ....delicious Sunday dinners...Wes and Tara fighting (yes, this was during our courtship and Wes and Tara were both adults)...opening our wedding gifts...Olivia's first Christmas...a lot of games playing...meeting London (Tara and Darren's puppy)...Olivia's first tooth poked though (found by Katie), etc, etc. Love that house and the people who lived there!

My children have an obsession with eggs! The real kind...that you get out of your fridge. Twice this week they snuck them out o the fridge, brought them to the playroom and cracked them all over the carpet!!!!!  My goodness!  I'm not sure what to do about this...something has to change.

After daddy-daughter date on Saturday morning we all went to Calaway park again! It was hot and fun. Olivia loves the crazy rides! And, Aubrey is sad she can't go on them yet. The girls tried snow cones and cotton candy for the first time. That will probably not be happening again...the sugar made the crazy and cranky! Although, overall it was a blast. The girls love it there.

Next week I am off to VEGAS!  Sooo excited!! We tired to figure out a way for Wes to come with me, but we did not have child care, plus Wes has a lot of big jobs he's working on, so thought it would just be best for him to stay home. A part of me thinks he's a little worried about holding down the fort alone..but, I found a dayhome (a friend in the ward) for the girls to go to and he'll be working all day, so I think he'll manage! I'm very much looking forward to some kid-free time (although I do love them with all of my heart), some sun, some relaxing, and of course learning more about my business! It will be so great!!!

I love that house too and miss the people and interactions. It makes me sad that it isn't still part of our lives but we have other memories to create in other homes.
